Meet Your Coaches
Sohee Lee is an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist, female-centered health coach, and author whose approach to fitness is all about balance. She holds a master’s degree in health psychology and specializes in the art of creating healthy habits and, more importantly, sticking to them. Her workouts are no-nonsense, evidence-based strength training, designed to keep you progressing no matter what equipment you have on hand. When it comes to nutrition, she works to help clients and social media followers improve their relationships with food and avoid the potentially harmful effects of outdated diet strategies.
Carmel Rodriguez is a certified trainer, mom of two, fitness model, and entrepreneur. Her signature BodyMa (short for Body Mastery) training style gets your muscles working from head to toe — and even through your fingertips and the tips of your toes. Her unique, tried-and-true workouts cater to any fitness level, from stay-at-home parents to hardcore athletes looking to take their mobility and flexibility up a notch. On her social media, she’s amassed a dedicated following and uses her platform to inspire others on their own path to healthier living.
The Oxygen Challenge 8 Community
We’ve created a new Oxygen community space that is unique, fun, enriching, and supportive. It’s also private and ads-free! How do I join The Oxygen Challenge 8?
If you are an Outside+ member you will have free access to all courses on Outside Learn, including The Oxygen Challenge 8. If you are not an Outside+ member you will need to purchase an Outside+ membership to access The Oxygen Challenge 8 programs.
When does The Oxygen Challenge 8 start?
The Oxygen Challenge 8 begins on May 2, 2022, however, you can begin the Challenge at any time after that date, provided you have an active Outside+ membership.
What equipment do I need?
The workouts can be done at home with minimal equipment. We recommend you have a yoga/exercise mat and at least one set of dumbbells, preferably one lighter weight (5-8 pounds) and one heavier weight (10-20 pounds). A bench and a pull-up bar are optional.
When I sign up for Outside+, how do I access The Oxygen Challenge 8 programs and how long will I have access?
When you sign in to your Outside+ account, you can visit Outside Learn from the top navigation to access each coach’s program. Information on how to prepare for the program and enter the OC8 Contest can be found in the first lesson. A few days prior to the start of the program, the downloadable files, including the shopping list, will be available to help you prepare. The workout videos and remaining lessons will be available when the program launches on May 2nd.
Do I get access to both programs/coaches with my Outside+ membership?
When I sign up for Outside+, how long do I have access to The Oxygen Challenge 8 programs?
You will have access to both programs and all courses on Outside Learn provided you have an active Outside+ membership.
What is the purpose of the private community?
The private community is a great place to connect with the coaches and fellow Challenge team members. Our intent is to provide a safe space to ask questions and share your successes, struggles, and transformations. Joining the OC8 Community is optional.
How can I join the private OC8 community?
Visit the first lesson of either OC8 coach’s program to find the link to request to join the private community. Please use the email address associated with your Outside+ membership so that we can verify your request. Due to the anticipated volume of requests, please allow 48 hours to be added to the group.
How do I join The Oxygen Challenge 8 Contest?
With your Outside+ membership, you are eligible to enter The Oxygen Challenge 8 Contest which runs concurrently with the launch of the program on May 2, 2022. Entries will be accepted between May 2 through May 16 and you will be able to access the entry form from the first lesson in either Oxygen Challenge 8 program. You can enter to win up to 5 separate Contest categories: Digital Cover, Biggest Transformation, Fittest Mom, Fittest Masters Athlete (40+), and Biggest Motivator.
What is your refund policy for Outside+?
Access to The Oxygen Challenge 8 is only through Outside+ membership and there are no refunds for Outside+. However, if you elect not to renew your Outside+ membership, your access to any free member perks will automatically end one year after redemption.
